We took in a nice 1 1/2 year old cat last week from the local SPCA, that we named Luna. She was a surrendered by an elderly person that was not able to care for her any longer. She spent 36 days there with one application that fell through. Black cats over a few months old are harder to adopt. She is a very smart, but she has two bad behaviors: going up on the counter and ripping paper towels and napkins up. Other than that, she is quite the character.

 

Ripping up paper towels is not a bad behavior - it is a feature. Cats do that (newspapers too) and it keeps them entertained and also keeps them from thinking up new ways to get into trouble (also a feature ). Now getting on the counter, yep, that is an issue.

 

A simple sentence with such clarity I have to share it.

That is so sad.

 

Holy chit, the Hounds would destroy that car when they caught it.
