Im sorry to hear this but glad that he is in a better place. He will be missed not only by his family but by a much larger community than they even know. Im praing for his family that they will have the strength to deal with this. Does anyone know if there is a collection being taken for the family or if they need anything?

Charlie will be sorely missed but we can be forever comforted that when he closed his eyes here the next moment he opened them in the presence of the Lord. May his family celebrate his life and be comforted in their loss. I never met you here Charlie but I hope to in eternity.

Charlie's wife asked me to let you guys know..... Yes I took care of the "Other Forum" too, although the replies were much stronger here, which really amazed me. Here is what I posted, "Long time Hearth.com member "Charly" with over 2254 posts to his credit,1075 Likes, 803 Trophy Points, who had joined Hearth.com on April 2, 2008 and left Oct 24th 2013 to help start another forum passed away. Many folks at Hearth.com knew and respected Charly and his willingness to help them. He will be missed by many and I thought it prudent to notify his friends here that he had passed." The post received 4 replies, pretty sad really 5 yrs 2254 post, 803 trophy points, 4 folks post condolences.......really?.
As most of you know Charlie was an animal lover, rather than flowers at the funeral which ended today, the details were posted in my original post the request was as follows, "In lieu of flowers, kindly consider memorials to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in Charlie's honor." - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/timesunion-albany/obituary.aspx?pid=169627298#sthash.Fn3x1tgF.dpuf
Charlies wife Meribeth seems to be surrounded by family and has been keeping Miss Esse burning in Charlies honor, although she never had learned to run it, her brother watched some of my You Tubes to learn how. She sent me an e-mail at 4am so I know she is not sleeping well, I'm sure her heart is broke. They were very close you could tell the love they had for each other every time Charlie mentioned Maribeth's name, you could feel the love in his voice.
If I could make a suggestion, you guys could shoot her a message and let her know how much Charlie meant to you. She is using Charlie's e-mail, mwolz1 at nycap.rr.com
Those of you that live nearby can make it your ministry to make sure that their place is taken care of, they have a nice little farm and it will be tough to take care of alone.
Charlie was the type who was always helping someone, especially widows and folks that were alone. It would be great if you guys would make sure Maribeth is not left to fend for herself. Please let me know if there is anything I can do from Montana.

I am really impressed with your forum and I wish I could visit you guys more often but I have been really busy launching my own forum. Your all invited to visit us there, I'd like to link our sites up, you guys are a great bunch!
Thanks for your support and prayers, Charlie was a great friend, I really enjoyed the time we had together, it may have been short, but it was sweet!
Please come visit, Charlie was going to join us, but unfortunately time would not allow that to become a reality, he was having too much fun with you guys!

Thanks so very much for your testimony and tribute to Charlie, Woody. Absolutely SPOT-ON, heartwarming and a total reality-check. He thought highly of you too......In the convos we had, your name came up a lot more than once......

Guys like you and Charlie, I must say, is what the world needs much more of.....I was very proud to call Charlie a friend, and I'm very proud to call you a friend Woody. I've been trying to check out your site but a lot of the online time I spend is done on smartphone and I cannot navigate your forum on the smartphone. At any rate, I'll most certainly be over.....and I'll proudly promote your site here as well.....

I'll be sure to send Maribeth an email later today......I feel so bad for her.....
    God bless you my friend.....

Thanks, yes, the new site has been a real thorn in my flesh, I hired someone to launch it and showed them yours. For some reason they used VMware as the Forum and Word Press for the site. I paid extra to make sure the forum was navigable on a phone or tablet. Our main problem is the hosting company 1and1.com is terriable and their tech support is lousy. The site has gone down several times and has a ton of glitches that 1and1.com wont take care of, so were moving. The guy that I hired to do the site is the guy that makes my videos, he is not a web guy. My web guy was too busy. Now we are dropping this mess in his lap and saying HELP!!!! That was supposed to be done this week but my website guy came down with the flu. He is an full time engineering student still in school, so this is taking way longer. I'm about ready to switch platforms and pay him to redo the site right this time. I already have a small fortune into a website that I don't sell anything on. It was supposed to be a gift back to the cookstove community for making us one of the largest cookstove providers in the world. Just a community of like minded folks like you have here......
Not turning out like I had hoped. Your site is great, works much better than ours.
I'm just a Motor City Gear Head turned Montana Mountain Man, all this stuff is way over my head.......grab me a cutting torch and a weldin rod for cryin out loud!
Don't werk real well for this puter stuff....

Anyway, Charlie is in a better place and we all continue to plug away and do the best we can. Knowing that your group is there for Meribeth is taking a load of me.
My being free to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ openly is refreshing.

I don't know that I fall in the same category as Charlie, he was a whole lot nicer fella than I am, that's for sure!
I'm still pretty rough around the edges, I still love my guns, guts and Glory! Once a Warrior, always a Warrior!
Which is why I had to head for the Mountains of Montana, so I could be around my kin folk. :campfire:Bunch of rebels!
I understand you folks had to register yer shooters.........I'd say NY is no place for this here feller.
I think I'll stay were we did not even have speed limits till all the knuckel heads from Californi came with their Ferrari's and drove them off the side of cliffs at 150 mph!
We still don't have sales tax and we can own any gun we want, so long as it's made here, no papers either.....
    Yippi Kai!

Such sad news. I'm glad he was a part of the this wood burners group and that some of us had the chance to interact with him.

So sad to hear when someone passes unexpectedly. To his credit, he was a good man with a big heart. The world needs more people like this. RIP Charlie.

This is so sad to hear. Charlie was a wonderful man, so full of life. Smart, kind, he loved working on the farm... but would talk to me about my Harley's just as knowledgeable as he would about wood stoves and burning. He loved his dear wife.. and what little he mentioned about her, they were so gifted to be together. My heart goes out to his family and all of his friends.

I have Charlies' Fireview, which he traded for the larger Progress Hybrid back to Woodstock and then I purchased as a refurb. I was so looking forward to riding my bike out there to his farm to meet in person this summer.

I am truly shocked by this news. A message to all of here... we only have the day God gave us, so hug your loved ones and tell them how much you love them.
