Another mild winter. That's about 4 or 5 straight. Grass is green and stuff blooming everywhere. Well I guess if nothing else I'm saving wood. Still believe a cold snap is coming and gonna stunt everything growing

Let's hope you don't get another hard freeze rebel. These warmer winters are a bit concerning to me, as far as the planet goes. But, I don't mind the warmer temps. I enjoy the milder temps actually as long as the bugs don't get worse with them!

Don't mention bugs. I can't even drink coffee on the porch for the black gnats

We're having the 3rd warmest winter ever down here. May wind up being the second warmest before it's over

Right now I'm in a short sleeve shirt with the deck slider and front door open. We don't have any bugs yet, and that's fine with me. I remember one year (about 15 years ago) we had a rose bush bloom in January.

Bugs already! Asian lady bugs, stink bugs, and I just sprayed a huge swarm of box elder beetles. These nasty creatures are at least 2 months early. On the up side tbey will all be out when we get a hard freeze again, and we will get another hard freeze.

Yesterday 64 and today 60. Amazing but then I looked at the records and a year ago today we had 59. But, that was only a 2 day warm spell and this one is supposed to last through Friday then back toward normal and here the normal is low 30's for the high temperature.

So, we've seen sandhill cranes returning and today one flock of high flying geese returning. Also yesterday we had a few black flies and some other bugs and flying insects. Wow!

Yes, I worry about the planet but it is difficult to not like these temperatures. I love being able to go outdoors without a coat or my ears covered; not wearing gloves too.

Similar temps here in southcentral PA... maybe a tad warmer. Was a good day to clean up the wood splitting area that I left kind of a mess from my last score. Looks like we'll have similar temps for the next few days... even saw a high of 70F for Thursday (I think). I've not had a fire for a couple days now... starting to worry me. :hair:

High 50's low 60's here the last few days. Looks like 50's and dry for at least another week. Have started a fire in the morning with a stuffed box and just let it go out, gas doesn't kick on all day once the sun takes over. Used the snowblower twice this year, unheard of for Buffalo!
