I switched to Echo Red Armor mix and needed to retune, so Andrew and I had a "race" (w/ the stopwatch of course). He kicked my arse. I picked too large of a cant for my small saws. We had fun either way. Win win for me. He's knocking on 17 now and still into saws w/ me. I'll take as much as I can get! Here's some vids. Had to warm 'em up first. :D

This is my best attempt at a fast chain. I have fun playing around w/ it. Not too serious yet. EC346

It was a little lean, so I fattened up a bit.

    Kept it right there.

Today was the first time I've ever had to touch the carb on my DD357. It was a bit lean too w/ the switch. Wish I had thrown a better chain on it.

I did give it a pinch more H after the vid.

And Andrews Hacked Up 365sp. It was tach'n 14 before switching.

He cut a few till it ran dry, then we switched. Turned the wick up, 15,2k ish was max, so I backed it down to 14,8 to see how fast it would go. This saw rips, we both like it... a lot!

Took it back to 14,2-3k and cut some more.

    Cut w/ the 50 too.

And a giveaway saw from ope xmas thread. It had a 24" square ground b/c from my 394. It'll just be part of the family. I'm a Husky guy so it's definitely cool to own an oldie.

394 is in need, so I'm not posting that vid. It's been on mill duty for a while. Seems to build revs slow, which is not normal at all for this saw. I threw a carb kit @ it w/ no change. I think it may be the cheena coil I put in it. I'm going to swap back to the oem on to see what happens. I'd love to bump timing a lil too.
