As I sit here and look outdoors, it is not dark yet. But just a short time ago it was dark at least an hour earlier than it gets dark now. Hooray! Spring will be here soon!
Actually, it will be here tomorrow--at least for a few days it is gonna feel like spring in Michigan.
Around here if the groundhog sees it's shadow, it will find a .223 bullet headed toward it at 2000 fps. We broke a warm record temp today. Tomorrow as well it seems. We're not even going to have any below freezing temperatures this whole next 7 days according to the local guessers.
I was thinking the same thing last night Backwoods Savage. After I got home from work there was enough daylight to drink a beer outside while throwing the frisbee for my dog and watching my daughter jump on the trampoline. It was a great way to kick off the weekend!
Loon, I was out yesterday for a short time but stayed out of the muddy spots. Actually most of the woods is drying up quite nicely right now. I see rain coming our way though and it won't be long before the spring rains come.
Me and Emma have a pic when we got back at 6.10 but having a bit of a time getting it outta photobucket. Lotta snow slop leaving right now .
