Bought a new pair back at Thanksgiving. Wore them around the house for an hour or so at a time. Then would wear them to do errands or just short periods during the following weeks.
They are just about broke in to the point where I can wear them all day. Wore them today for 12 hours so I'm getting real close.

Gasifier that new tractor is quite the machine. I could use one like that to pick up my logs so I can cut them at waist height.

JIMBETHYNAME , the same as yoops said goes for heel heights too. It took me quite awhile to adjust to tennis shoes and loafers after I was so used to taller heel heights. Do what yoops suggested :)

Wear 'em for a half-day. Swap out at lunchtime with your old boots until they settle in.

Pinewood derby today. We went and set the track up last night. We loaned out the track and it didn't get brought back to the church where we store it, so I couldn't check it over to make sure it was good to go. Lanes were all filthy, never got cleaned when they finished, and two of the electronic eyes on the finish line weren't working. Too late to order parts. Managed to get one to work, and we reprogramed the software to run 3 lanes instead of 4. That's why I don't loan stuff out.

I did plug the tractor in, but returned to my chair. Ahhh. Nice to relax here, the sun is shining through the window on me. It's going up to 45 degrees today!

Currently waiting on breakfast to be done. My wife is making bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches.

    Mmmm
Got a hankering to do a pastrami for some reason. Will have to see if I can pick up a good sized brisket, and then plan for some saturday (need 4 days to prep it, and for bro-inlaw to get a growler or 2 of some good local smoothie).

    Darn subliminal posts....
First it was french toast, then pancakes, now large cuts of meat.. sigh..

Just moved some firewood in from under the porch and then some from the front covered patio. Out front I saw three Robins moving around looking for food! The sun is shining strong and everything is dripping.
