    I'll do a pic of flowers tomorrow, actually a blooming azalea, GORGEOUS!! I got 1/2 way through the mix tape and planned on finishing today but he ended up working from home today, weird to be listenening and deciding infront of him. YES, the Exile song is on there ;) I told him it would arrive tomorrow, he thinks it was late from shipping :whistle:

    After all the good eats last night....(lasagna and then she made my favorite chocolate cake with peanut butter/coffee frosting)...I still managed to squeak out one more more than yesterday. 215.

    I l see a repeating cycle going on here. Down during the week, up again over the weekend. hmmm.

    Monin hawduhs... :coffee::coffee::coffee:... more pulling snow off roofs here today, along with pushing the piles back with the JD. Another 12"-14" tonight. The snowshoeing this weekend should be awesome. This kind of deep snow is how I remember winters as a kid... so, thankfully, it helps me keep being one... :D

    Yep, I had my first "pro" gig for 13 years, switched up for 19 months and got an email from an old customer encouraging me to make the move. The 2nd spot was just the wrong place & time, I was leading an R&D effort (read: one man show) in entirely new technology at a company that was a little "stuck" in years past and just trying to keep the lights on. R&D gets no love when you are just trying to pay the bills. The autonomy was a selling point as was the sweet location - both were moot with my absolute boredom.

    Back to a commute and the cubicle world, but the culture here is positive and the drive is similar to what I did for the first 13 years. Of course, a whole lot more green stuff is encouraging as well.

    No alarms today! Baby steps.

    So I contacted a tree service that was advertising free wood chips in my city on Craigslist. I asked if they have any tree logs or rounds, and if so I'd take them. They emailed me back this am, and I called them back. Sounds like I'll get a mix of elm, Norway maple, and white pine today, 2 small dump truck loads.

    We'll see what they deliver today......
