    Avalanche Watch, mostly Mt Washington, but could expand to other mountains, Winter storm warning for the entire area, and a hazardous weather outlook for the upcoming Wednesday & Thursday bringing another coastal storm. All this weather out west eventually makes an appearance here. I remember a few years ago, this was a weekly occurrence in New England.

    14/15 winter was absolutely miserable especially when you had to be out dealing with it 24/7. Started on Halloween and ended the end of April. January 19 started a month long run of every 2 days of major snow storms. Last year was a break we all needed. This winter has been easy, just got to deal with a couple bad weeks. Have you proved the saying "if you don't like the weather just give it 10 minutes, it will change "? Welcome to northern New England. I wouldn't give it up for anything.

    And we are in the 18-24 zone with winds blowing 30+ and gusting to 55.

    Your gonna get hit hard, so long as the predictions are correct! son and i raked the roof yesterday to get rid of what was there.

    The unfortunate part is I have to go out and plow my driveway before I go to work in the morning so my wife can get out. Bought a new truck a couple years ago and didn't get a new plow to put on it. That leaves the tractor and it's gonna suck for this one. We don't need to worry about the roofs, wide open and windy blows it all away. Stay safe out there, these ones can get bad quick especially where you are.

    The snow just started here, NOAA is calling for 8-12 so I'll go start the truck and the tractor. Once we get about four inches of snow I'll clean the driveway and then do it again tomorrow morning.

    It sounds like near the coast will be nasty with the high winds, stay safe.

    Raining and 33 here with a good coat of ice maybe 1/8" or so supposed to go to just rain for a bit then calling for 3-6" snow tonight into tommorrow with some 40 mph wind and upper 40 low 50 by midweek and sun. Course the up and down weather has brought some nasty colds to the house here so nothing better to do but burn wood, drink coffee and watch the rain

    In that first pic, at first glimpse i thought you created a hooded snow man sitting on a couch. :yes:, and thought, damm, that's petty good!


    Still need to go sit in a snow bank. Snow amounts reduced to 10"- 14" :picard:

    16" to 24" but I think we will end up with the 16" I hope, not sure if I should snowblow in a little bit then again tomorrow or just take my chances and wait...

    You were supposed to say azz deep, but I'll let it slide. It's really pileing up now, very fluffy, about 10 snowflakes=1"

    If you head out tonight, might make it easier tomorrow since it will get so windy overnight and maybe drift
