    If light shines through the cap on the bottom of the cleanout T, it should be replaced! See pics below

    Yes it was! There was alot of ash in the bottom of the T that covered up these holes.
    I cleaned it up, put in High Temp RTV and then covered it with High Temp foil tape while I order up some new caps. It is a 4" Duravent cap, not so easy to come by.

    I checked my PVP pro caps and a magnet sticks to them. Yet the magnet does not stick to the inner liner of the pipe. Don't think they use the same SS on the caps that they should be using?

    I'm disappointed in my PVP pro venting. A busted double tee they won't warranty to caps they cheaped out on! Definitely won't be buying this chit again!!

    I was over at a buddy's' house and thought I saw dust "sparkling/burning off" on his black pipe, just above the stove. I took a closer look and realized it was full of pin holes!! :eek:
    His stove was stuffed full and burning along at a good clip. I pointed it out to him and his reply was, "Yeah, check it out, no creosote" !!
