We finally had a nice day out here in Oregon today, so I decided to do a little wood cuttin' with my friend. I know everyone likes pictures, so I took a few with all of you in mind.

We cut down about a dozen alder trees, cut most of them into rounds, loaded them into the trailer and hauled them to where they will be split and stacked. It took 3 trips, although the third trip wasn't full. There are still a few trees we haven't cut up yet, but my back is feeling all the work we did today. Does anyone want to come split and stack the wood for me?

Looks like something I would like to have been doing if this darn rain and mud would quit already.

Looks like you have a nice open area to cut & buck up the logs for loading and transport. It's great you were able to get so much done. I enjoyed the pics, thanks, and don't over do it. rest up that back.

There sure is a lot of green stuff on those trees that aren't leaves! Good work.
