Well folks know it ain't much but I'm recovering from a fracture in my neck and a torn rotator cuff. Got a some motivation with the warm weather and took the non working pump out of my hot tub. Then turned my attention to my wood hauling trailer deck needed some protection. After that I clean out the stove and brought some wood up to the house. I will say going from very active to not doing jack gets ya outta shape quick lol. 20170207_165045.jpg 20170207_182907.jpg

It's not any easier at 63.
I wish I had kept up the morning ritual of limbering up every day I got into 30 years ago.
Doing it now isn't impossible just the lack of ease/setbacks is a little discouraging

You go Blazing - we'll rest when we're dead...I have 2 tears in my rotator cuff and 1 in my labrum,,,it hurts but who wants a 6 wk lay-off from surgery unless life threatening? Cuff tears dont heal, it will progress til surgery is a must but til then, do what you can tolerate...Nice work:yes:

Stayed up late looking at pumps last night. It's a shame when you try and buy local but they don't seem too care. All good though I'm definitely down for a good soak and a cold one lol. Ashwatcher yeah I definitely don't have time for laying around. Went for a follow up on the neck they didn't like what they saw apparently. So back to the surgeon a different one at that. No problem I thought get a second opinion never hurts right. Call to make an appointment... March 1st is the first available o_O what do people think that you're just supposed to stop living day to day lol. Sure is nice having a great forum to read while I'm on "light" duty.

Hope you heal fast Blazing and good luck with new doctor.

I'm with you having a good forum while on light duty. Never thought I'd be on a forum but when the body doesn't agree with all you want to do, it is a good time to be on the forum and hopefully doing some healing while talking with friends.

Good to hear you were able to get out and do a little work! Even if it isn't much, you can give thanks that things aren't worse.

Awe yeah she's back up and running! Got my new pump put in the old hot tub today. We had a terrible wind storm a few days back that blew some of my tin off the stacks so got them covered back up. Then went for a 3 mile walk with my 78 year old grandma. Feels good to get a little something done. 20170211_154712.jpg

I know where I'D be this evening if I were you....;)

Ease back into the work, bud.....you'll be back in shape in no time. I've got a bum shoulder too, my left one......tore it up from years of weightlifting and tree work and a rogue wave at Nag's Head, NC a few years back pushed it over the edge. I'm going to look into having it fixed this coming winter...I hate the thought of down time though.....

Honestly it's killing me to not roll hard all day everyday, but I know that's not the right thing to do now. I fully understand not wanting to be down and won't lie and tell you it's fun either lol. As for getting in the tub tonight if I could heat that water with wood I might could do it lol. Unfortunately though electricity is only good for about 1-2 degrees an hour and it's far far away from 102.
