New shed is now full.

Started this 20'X20" shed in spring of 2016 and filled it by fall.

 

That has to feel great. Congrats on the hoard of wood.

Got all the material from a demolition project for free. The post, cross supports and roof frame is metal. The metal roof is supported by wood joist so the panel screws could hold. The wood is 50% oak, 30% hickory and 20% ash. I have another shed full and lots of uncovered wood so as Ive finally achieved the 3 year hoarding goal. Yeah!!!!!!!

 

Its 7 foot tall and 8 foot at the high end. Got all the wood set on pallets. So what ever that calculated to. Ill check the calculator.

Dry wood with out using tarps is sweet!

 

According to the wood hoarder calculator it figures to be 18.75 chords. Thats at a average of 6 foot in height.

 

Just like every shed, barn, woodshed and storage building I've ever built....should have made it bigger

Isn't that the truth! I thought my 12'×21' would be all I'd ever need. After I filled that and then filled enough outside to fill it again I knew I had a problem lol. On the plus side I don't have to take trash wood anymore... but I still do for some reason

Well I cut, split, hauled and stacked it. I guess I can call it a chord. Burning wood is music to my ears.
