Little over 1.5 cord here, no appreciable snow, no sustained cold spells, seen single-digits maybe twice...pretty much just a dark tinted just cool enough to chill the bones but living in a warm mud hole kinda winter round here...We do however generally get hammered in Feb/Mar so the jury is still out---Mild most everywhere I guess so we'll just hoard more...I dont like breaking down stacks any way :binoculars::stacke:

Mid to late February I will be around 5 cords. I have been keeping a notebook with the date and amount of wood we stack in the garage. We burn very freely, in the fall I was burning wood with the windows open because I got anxious for the season to start.
Propane tank will get topped off every 3-4 years.

Only 1 1/4 cord so far. We had several weeks in Jan. that did not go bellow freezing even at night. No frozen ground so far and it does not look like it will in Feb.

I still have about 55% of my 2016/17 stack left. Although about 30% of what I've burned this year was pine and I'm out of that now, the rest is ash and silver maple so I expect it'll last me a tad longer.

It is amazing to have these relatively warm winters. We brought a load of wood to the porch this morning and I'd guess what is still left in the barn is half the wood we planned on burning this year. This probably means for the first time ever we'll be taking wood out of the barn in the spring and stacking it back outdoors. I won't mind though.

As for percent of winter, it started on December 21 and will end around March 21 so we've gone through over half the winter so far.

I'm just approaching 1 3/4 cord burned so far.

I was gone for 12 days during the coldest part of this burning season in December; when it go to -14*F here according to my neighbor. Didn't really need the stove until late Nov.

Been burning steady since I got home from that trip 1 week before Christmas (not political I hope) and my house is staying warm.

My first year burning and I'm getting pretty low on seasoned wood, have some ash as a backup but it's boarder line on the moisture content. Hopefully better prepared for next year!

I put 3 cords on my porch for 2015-16, burned only 1 last season and I'm in for about 1 cord this season so far. I'll be re-loading the porch soon so that I can have some space to put some more wood down in the seasoning area. I don't really know how much I've got down there, but it is multiple years worth.

No more than two cord at most. Above average temps again this year but not as crazy as last, that said the forecast for Wed is high 40s / 50.

Temps yo yoing allover the place sometimes reasonable 30's then single digits above and below 0 - plus wind chill factors . Been though a cord of ugly stuff early on and ran through a 7x20 ft row(17" long splits) plus about 50% of a similar row so far - there was a lot of Silver maple in these rows Plenty under cover in 2 different locations the bulk of which are the better hardwoods so no real worry. Just got to spend some time bring it into small garage. Think the use factor is about on par- averaging out the last couple years.

Don't know where I'm at but its been a lite burn year for sure.
I have a chit-ton ,,, prolly gonna have to sell off a bunch before it rots. I gave a bunch to my neighbor last year against my better judgment as sacrificial STFU firewood.
My business has grown immensely ( noise/visual aspect) the last 3 years and I want to keep him happy.

This guy down the road works for a manufacturing company that goes through a lot of wood pallets. The company can't reuse them and has no interest in recycling, so he takes them off their hands for free and busts them up. $35 per face cord. 70% poplar and 30% oak. I also have some ash and oak that is not quite seasoned yet, so this dry stuff was a godsend to get things going with a new stove.

Maple on the warm days, Red and White Oak with a little Ash on the cold. We've gone through 3.5-4 cord with our Hardy. We've been using Maple from treelawn trees the past few years and go through about a 1/3 more per season. Oak helps a lot.
