    Some dancing blue ladies from a mature bituminous coal fire. Camera doesn't due the flames justice. Impressive in person.

    They look like this .

    My camera just doesn't pick them up for some reason. Mine are never that dramatic . Usually only 1-3" tall flames .
    You can see a few in the top of the photo . There were actually about 50 small blue flames in that coal bed.
