Bucked up this 22inch ash today. Should be about a cord. I forgot how much fun a 20in bar on a 90cc saw is :)

No, it'll get split right there...possibly this weekend. Then loaded into trucks from about where I stood to take the pic.

066 with a 20" bar. My original diameter estimate was off. It was closer to 25" butt end and held a solid 22" for the first 15 feet up.

I got all the big stuff split today. The arborist was piecing down 2 more basswood by (basically above) the small stuff so I couldn't get to rest of it without being too close to the drop zone. Not gonna die just to split firewood. The basswood will go to the dump.

    And no....I didn't remember anything that resembled a camera....my fault :(

Nice looking rounds :dex:. You could probably swing the 066 past them rounds and they'd fall apart lol.

Nice to be working on big stuff.

I've been working on all 6-10 inch stuff an hour or so in the afternoon and that makes for some rather pathetic looking piles for the effort.
But it's heat and what I've got.

The only pathetic pile is bare ground. Nice job working through it.

Looks like alot of good firewood there. Bet you will get quite a few splits out of each of those rounds.
