Who still has their christmas tree or decorations up?

Just turned out lights off outside for the year.
They are still up. They will come down this year for some R&R. Otherwise they would stay up.

 

I love miniature villages. Looks like you have the perfect place to display it.

In our town, the skies are so normally grey and dreary in January that Christmas lights get left on for a week or two after New Years.

 

Wife and I were just talking about this, and she mentioned the 2 little Blue Spruce that our two youngest granddaughters planted out near the ditch between the legs of our turn-around drive back in '07. The idea is to put some bulbs on those and maybe solar powered lights next year.
So, anybody that drives down our road will get a little display.
We'll see if it happens.

 

We leave Evergreens up until March. Most everyone around here does. Colored lights and anything that says Santa comes down by New Years. Not uncommon at all to see candles in windows all year long. Now seeing more and more white lights on bushes anytime of year. If it makes you happy, go for it.

 

Just checked still there! Usually take it down around April!

I make that suggestion every year...I always get told to "quit being a scrooge"
We still have a few Christmas cards displayed...that's about all that's still out/up

 

Right after the New Years first week for sure.

Taking down the lights from outside along with all the other decorations on the house, garage and the yard usually takes place on a snowy cold wind chill day that 99 lbs dictates to me something like "Make sure they are already down by the time I get home or we'll be out there in the dark and you know how much fun that is".

So after a long cold day in a cramped up crawl space or after falling off a ladder, I trudge around the yard full of snow with now gloves in a mad rush getting all the decorations and lights down and put away before "she" gets home!!!!

Back to my corner.....

 

My front door evergreens looked really Christmasy this morning.
