On these cold winter days when my wife and I are both laid off till spring, we often times have friends who stop in to B.S. with us. They all know we always have a nice warm far going and they enjoy relaxing by the stove. They also know we most generally have beer on ice also. Even though they usually drink the same brand of beer as us they always seem to bring their own in their own coolers. I dont know, maybe they are just being polite? I mean really, beer on ice is beer on ice aint it?
C'mon Butcher ! Everyone knows it's easier to bring beer on ice than to bring wood for the fire!!! Enjoy your visits!
They are just being nice by bringing their own. I do the same. You can't be assuming that you'll always have beer. This way, they know there will be beer.
It must be an age thing or some thing. Every one seemed to have missed my joke. I know the pic turned out a little fuzzy but take a closer look at the cooler I got the beers in. Does the term thunder pot give you a hint?
That is exactly why I leave my beer outside in the snow when I come over to visit, I don't wanna have to put it in some crappy cooler. I wish you lived closer Butcher .
