Just looked at the extended forecast and ack its gonna drop significantly next week looks like single digits next weekend . Enjoy it while you can its been fairly toasty, just windy .

Weekend looks to be on the chilly side. Went with a few Hamer's and I'm having to reach over them to get the rest of the NO's.

Rough guess is maybe 30 NO's left and then I'll have to dip into the FSU's. December and January put a dent in the stash!!

Still burnin the GS from last spring's BOGO. Nearing the end soon. Have mixed other stuff in at times, so it wasn't straight GS the whole time. Want to dig into some of the other stuff, but it's still hidden.
Gettin ready to head up and see ArtC for another 1/2 ton.

I ended up moving a ton of GS in the house. Figured might as well continue with these since they have been burning ok.

Replenishing my stock with FSU's . So far burning good on Medium 350 center glass and 260 out the blower vents . All in all can't complain at $ 5.18 a bag . So after 5 test bags this is what the burn pot looks like. There were some ash cakes at the bottom but easily break apart .

Guess I need to break into a bag of 802s and see what's what. Luney if you stumble on any Vermonts, you should pick them up and give them a try too.

I'm liking what i am seeing and feeling burning hot and clean how about yourself Skeet ? I will confirm but where i picked these up today their website says $290 a ton for the 802's i might just go for it . What are they bringing out West ? Might have to make another run out West while I am off from work .Take the rest of them long Vandy's off your hands, seems the new stove is not having an issue with mixing them, might even try to burn them straight up .

Stumbled upon some but they want $305 a ton for them and a bit ways further then the 802's which after doing some research they seem to be made at the same plant in Vermont, well these are anyways "Green Mountain Softwood" is what they have for sale.

That's the first I've heard that. Story I heard was 2 guys that worked for Vermont left and started their own plant.

I just looked up the website for both companies. Vermont pellets are made in North Clarendon. 802's in West Windsor. The name of the company making the 802's is Renewable Fuels of Vermont vs Vermont Wood Pellet Co. I don't believe they're the same pellet or made in the same location.

The Green Mountain Softwood are made by Renewable Fuels of Vermont, the same as the 802's. Maybe that is what you were referring to. I think TTdberg was referring to the Vermont Wood Pellets in his post to you.
