    Nailed a tire to a chopping block this week and thought I could swing away without worrying about damaging my fiskars splitter.

    I noticed that one of my swings landed on the rubber but thought nothing of it.

    But actually, the wire bead of the tire had done some work to the blade!

    A couple of folds there.
    Seems you can never give up on good technique!
