    Right around freezing this am.
A few small splits of Oak in the 30 should get us through until about dinnertime, with a forecast high of 37.

Same here for the nice weather, I believe it hit +5 C (40 F) yesterday afternoon, which is insane weather for this time of year. It's sitting at -5 C ( 22 F) right now, and supposed to make it above freezing later. I'm burning up poplar and pine sticks and shed crud.

Naw...just keep it as a deterrent to snowfall!

Or better yet, sell it with a much higher asking price due to that fact!!!:salute:

Yeah... weird ole winter this one. :loco:

We're in the middle of what looks to be about a two week stretch of daytime high temps in the 40s and 50s F. Means that we end up making just single fires at a time instead of burning 24/7.

The One That Consumes is really getting confused now. Been feeding it primarily walnut over this period. Figure I'd get through that pile when it's warm out rather than the good stuff. Better half gets pizzled at the the ash amount though, so it will be good to get it done. I keep telling her... I'm saving the oak for cold weather!! TOTC simply says... "is that all ya got?!"

It was 34 this morning (39 at the moment) so I'm heading down to load the Liberty up.

We have some rain this morning but maybe it will quit before 10.

no fire, house would be too hot too soon
gotta spend the day getting a little further ahead on the pine to have quick short fires on days like today.
We're almost out. What a weird Winter.

We were -14c/7f an hour ago but weve warmed up to -12c/10.5f in the last hour. We are under clear skies this morning so it should warm up nice today! Ive just loaded the stove with doug fir after our overnight burn. Have a great day!

You've apparently never lived in the snow belt.
I don't mind the cold,,,,,,, I just hate living with massive amounts of snow for 4 months out of the year. If we never had more than a foot on the ground I would prolly like it.
62 and sunny right now. Fires out. :dex:

I think our slice of crazy warm is about over, so maybe it'll head your way! Can't complain about anything in the 14 day forecast (no colder than -20 C).
