Takes a lot of time and digging to find them, not many people will put the work in it that I will to get something I want for my collection. A lot of it is word of mouth, fellow collectors, and other saw builders. Finding them is half the battle, being ready to pay up is equally important. May be easy some day, I'm sure the kids will sell them in a garage sale when they inherit them.

Hey Clemsonfor.....Finding them works like this.....hey Beau, put me first on the list when you're ready to send that one down the road.... that's a nice 044. In my opinion, pound for pound the best saw Stihl has ever made. I'll take a 044 over a 440, 441, 046, 460, or 461 any day.
