Troy Bilt 27 ton splitter

ok men, a guy has come down on his price for a 4 year old TB 27 ton. He will now take $550.00.
What say the FHC brain trust?

I bought one used 4-5 years ago. It's been flawless.

 

If it's got good clean oil in it, and the engine sounds good, everything working as it should-- it's a fair price. If you decide you don't like it, you should be able to get your money back out of it without too much effort.

 

Good price IMO.

 

I bought a new one 4 yrs ago. Nice splitter. Have rethreaded the bolt hole for the tables, & replaced the lovejoy coupler. No other issues. That's a good price if she ain't beat. Grab it!

Pretty sure that comes with a Honda engine, nuff said...believe that model is like 1299. new on sale from Lowe's-I have a friend with one=no problems at all with it

 

If the guy is selling it because he doesn't use it then that means that it has not seen four years of use; so sounds like you are getting a good deal.

 

That is about half price of that unit new. Sounds like a great deal to me.
