Well, I was feeling a little better today and it was in the 20s so I figured I'd get another load into the cellar. I started bringing wood into the cellar this year and it has worked out great, so nice to just go downstairs in my socks in bring a load of firewood to the stove! I have really bad fatigue so after work it really sucks to go out to the wood piles, uncover them and carry the wood into the house. And a plus, my wife will bring wood up to the stove when it's already in the house! I get about a 1/3 of a cord stacked and that works out pretty well. The pellet stove in the cellar keeps the wood dry and warm too. Now that I pulled more wood out of the shed, my 4-wheeler and plow fit much better.

Glad you're able to stay after it dylskee
That's a nice setup and working system you have going on there:yes:

And just enough room in front of the plow for your pup to investigate :)

I do what I can when I'm feeling well. Yes, the setup is working great this year. I used to bring in enough wood for a couple days and pile it on the hearth, I like having a decent amount in the cellar. So nice when it's snowing and 10° outside and I can get my wood from a nice warm house!
My dog follows me EVERYWHERE and needs to investigate everything I do! She tries to climb on the 4-wheeler when I'm on it, so funny! Have yourself a great weekend Eric VW

My Buddy who just retired has a similiar set up downstairs. He loads up the basement through a basement window....Stacks at his leisure. Soon he has about 12 face cords down there..Awesome.

Thanks Locust Post been working great so far! No bugs or problems so I will do this every year. I felt well enough today for another load but I don't have any more room for another. I brought in some of my hickory this morning to the hearth though, love this stuff!
