Forecast temps.......and reality

Forecast for last night was -5°, so I got a nice fire going with the house just below 70 before going to bed.
Turned on the DV heater too.
Woke up this morning at 7:15 and when I checked the outside temp, it was -20°.
I'm so glad I don't completely rely on the forecast to do what I need to keep the house warm.
It's a guide.......and not always a good one.
House is back up to 70, so all is gooder.

 

Same here it went way lower than they were forecasting!

 

-22 when I left the house at 7:30. Forecast low was -2.

 

It was only -8 when I got up here, but a lot colder than the forecast said it would be.

 

I knew I wasn't the only one.
Somehow, it doesn't make me feel any better knowing that.

They forecast -2 last night. I woke up to 1.

You can keep that -20 stuff up in your neck of the woods PD.

 

Sitting @ -17.4 C right now and they are predicting -27 C by morning. Supposed to be last night of HD cold, we'll see.
