A before and after pic of the wood cart next to the stove would be much more impressive.

20170105_200046.jpg 12 degrees feels like -2, still calling for 3-5" of snow. I going back out to the shop the stoke the Fisher wood stove, bad time to have remove the gray un-kept winter beard. :( its snowing now!

20170105_203202.jpg Roads are almost covered with snow, not the best foot wear either. :) I need the Fisher XL installed for a great all night burn, this all won't fit in the GrandPa.

I agree on the foot wear choice.

    But, it is Texas, right?

Also, nice pic of the snow coming down!

It's 20 out heading to 10, the Liberty has five splits of Sugar Maple and I decided to put a bag of pellets in the P.S., it's set on 78.

-30 and less all day with the wind. Never got above zero real temps once again, nor will it get above zero tomorrow either.
Sat is the next day where we may see positive temps but only in the low singles. (I doubt it myself)
The wind has died down but the sky is clearing up a bit so the overnights will get the nails a poppin tonight!

10F & dropping here too. 0 to + 5 is what they say. Gonna stay up a bit later for a full reload of Red Oak. That'll keep it reasonable till morning. Stay warm all.

Forecast low of 7 turned into a forecast low of 4.......after it got to 4.
Nice to see they're right on top of things........it's zero and seems to be dropping.:picard:
Just loaded the 30 with 8 gooder sized splits of Maple for the night.
I also have the DV heater in the laundry room running. It's 68 at my desk and about 70 in the kitchen. Those temps should rise in a bit. Oops, just clicked over to 70. See? Told ya".:)
