    Had 65 mph & 14° last night.

    The no snow is the strange part

    -15 this morning and single digit highs today but the sun was out so I didn't have to push the stove like I did back in January. Looks like one more bitter cold -20 morning then we get a little break.

    Although it only got to 10 degrees today, there still was some snow melt. On the blacktop roads, it soaks up the sunshine nicely and is melting the snow and ice. In addition, I really noticed it this afternoon how the sun is shinning so well in the house as the sun is moving further to the north. Hooray!

    Noticed today that I didn't use as much wood, despite the 12° outside. Very unusual.
    Sun had an impact with it shining in the west side windows all afternoon. Nice.:thumbs:

    Same here Dave. We hit 10 today but it was nice. Even in the car; it warmed up faster because of the sunshine.

    Nice sunny day.
    Forecast for -6°f tonight (normal is around 10° )

    Definitely have seen an uptick in solar gain. I'm getting good solar snow removal fron Sunday nights heavy dusting on the SW facing part of my driveway .
