The sleds won't hold two but that's a good idea.

Why not? I remember way back in the 60's when the sleds were a lot smaller than today's and we got away with riding double on them.

Marketing, my wood burning friend, sheer marketing!

That and of course back in the 60's, we were both a little smaller!

    Didn't you expand with age?

I don't think it was age that cause that expanding...

They're not made for hauling two people, just one. You put two on the sleds we have and they'll bottom out in the back, trust me.

The bigger picture is the model we have, the smaller picture is the two up. I gave a person a ride up the trail who was looking for his dog, again they're not made for two adults.

Neither were the ones we had but the sleds did not realize this except when in really deep fluffy snow.

We'll hopefully get some loaner sleds to try out and see how we like it, when the season slows just a little :)

Got a little over 300 miles this year....over 200 in December!
Monday parts of the local trails were open and got a smooth 40. Recent rain just closed them.
Hopefully the lake effect cranks this weekend!

It's crazy several lakes are "safe" but mud holes on the trails:hair:.
I think it was Ohio that was filling holes and crossing lakes with a full size groomer via Facebook..

It would ride two kids but two adults will make the back bottom out. The sleds we have are actually a good starter sled for kids but since they were in great shape we bought them. If we have another chitty winter snow wise then maybe we'll sell them.
