Giz/Emma and everyones pets on the board

Holy cow. Looks so much like my Oggie who passed away three years ago.

Edit: She was the love of my life. I still get emotional whenever I think about her. I love Buddy nearly the same and he saved my life when Oggie passed, But I still have a hard time forgetting my beloved Oggie. Hope and pray I get to see her again when I die, at the Rainbow Bridge. Chief

 

Dozer was my buddy. He went everywhere with me. Toward the end he would push open the draft on the stove at night. The opening
between the brick posts is 59" and that's a Liberty stove, he'd ride in the cab with me in a little commuter Toyota on the bench seat, people would just laugh when we'd get out together. Blessed us for 9 years


Gus was the boy's dog, they were inseparable. He rode with the boy in an 84 Mercury Tracer. He was a good butcher buddy too. He's gnawing on a knuckle from a good sized Hereford bull. Blessed us for 7 years

Shasta was found and rescued from being a coyote dinner when she was about half that size. She instantly clung to my daughter, they were inseparable also, walks in the woods, down around the creek, everywhere. If they were awake they were within sight of each other. Blessed us for 6 years



Had to put Ginger down a couple months ago now I don't have the heart to even look at her pictures just yet so those will have to wait a while. I took the passenger side bucket seat out of the truck so she could ride with me easier. I haven't put it back in yet. She was a blessing for 7 years.

Bernards are our breed here. Others have been around, but so far none stack up quite the same. All our dogs but Dozer have been rescue dogs.

Oh my God spotted owl, you are making this old man cry. What a wonderful bunch of puppies you've had. It is just so sad they can't live as long as we do, and have to break our hearts when they go. All of our dogs have been rescues. They know it too, and love you for it. Thanks for making me get all emotional. Chief

So sorry for your recent loss! Time lessens the affect of the grief, but we never forget. I still get emotional thinking of dogs and cats that have been gone for over 10 years.

 

Cletus' balls got bigger. Size 4 fits in his mouth!

The three ewe lambs chewing their cud this morning. It's going to be wet for the next two days, but the have plenty of shelters and in all honesty, they really don't mind a little gentle precipitation. Their coats with wool and lanolin shed water like a duck's back (almost).

Same old scenery but we did get alot cut and split the past couple days.

I would love that scenery! Unseasonable rain here. Then single digits. Looking for that and snow. I've got wood to cut.
