Our township does the garbage collection (FREE- figured into property taxes) 2 days a week at town building where they keep all the maintenance equipment . My neighbor upwind of me worked there for 20+ years and drove to said building every day .
    The dumbastage burned his garbage!!!!
He retired 2 years ago and NOW they take it somewhere !

I did that to my thumb and one finger while cooking French toast for my wife for her breakfast the day before Christmas. She had fallen and hurt her back. That burn hurt like h@ll for at least 4 hrs. and was very tender for the next two days.

I make a regular pie crust and the filling is similar to a turkey pot pie. It will have veggies, turkey and thick gravy in it. I freeze it uncooked and then when I want to cook it, put it in the oven frozen and bake for an hour.

102_0878-001.JPG The driveway was like glass this morning so after 180 pounds of sand it is mostly done. I have some pictures I'll post in a few minutes. The darker sand is from what the neighbor gave us late fall that we dried out and the other stuff is called play sand that I bought over a year ago when all the store were out of the tube sand. The play sand came in 50 pound bags which filled up a five gallon bucket, that's how I came up with the 180 pounds.

Are you guys wearing cleats on the ice? I have spikes for ice fishing, but I just got some yaktrax to try out. The spikes really dig in when I need them. Not sure if the trax will be enough with the gas auger going.

TSC sells a 50 bag of salt for a food trace additive. Also works well in a broadcaster or seed spreader. $6.99

Agway in Potsdam sells tube sand @ 70 pounds per, I have a bunch of those along with another 150 pounds of sand in the basement that's dry.

I used the Rhino on the ice today, those new tires we had put on last fall grip pretty good without the chains.
