Be careful which kind you buy....around here, it seems that no matter what brand it is, they all bring you to a bar!

Yes it turned out great but I'm exhausted. One of the local tv stations came out and gave live spots on the morning news from the bakery for the first couple hours. I was too tired to be there but one of the girls stepped up and did a great job. So good that another tv station came by later and wanted her for an interview. I'm always amazed at how much people will step up when you need it most. All the way from my production people through to the retail counter they all stepped up. We had some real misfortune early on but things came together and we got 'er done. I'm tired now but I know I'm truly blessed:)

Get one with a long track, and a 2 up seat, with a hitch option on the rear bumper.

They all end up at bars.

My wife and I really enjoy 2 up sledding, It's a great way to spend time outdoors in the winter.

Glad ya made it thru the holiday rush AndyB

Like Backwoods Savage said above, if any members are passing thru the Toledo area, stop in and see andybaker! He runs a FANTASTIC bakery:)
Me and DexterDay stopped there last April on the way to Dennis and Judy's GTG and we were blown away by the hospitality, and meeting Andy was like shaking hands with a family member ya hadn't seen in years!:handshake:

Ohhh, gee, look at that. Toledo is right on the way to Maine for me. 5 hours away, so a good spot to stop and stretch my legs and my waistline. Love me some bakery...

Ah yes, the ole tv interviews. Glad you have good people and yes, many times they really can step up when you aren't there. But then, this is a very good indication that they are happy to work there and that is a nice feather in your cap.

Andy, rather than the guys stopping in on their way to our gtg (April 22, 2017), it really would be great if you could take that Saturday off and come yourself, even if for only a few hours. Of course, in order to gain entry into our driveway it takes a loaf of Polish coffee cake.

Here is an image taken from Google Earth.

Gary, to get there from MI, it is best to take I-475 going east off of US-23. Then take I-75 north for just a couple miles before exiting onto I-280. Then I believe it is the first exit after crossing the big river; Starr Street. The bakery is just a couple blocks off the expressway. But please note you can not get back onto I-280 south where you got off. You have to continue east a couple blocks to South Wheeling Street (there is a traffic light there). Then go south past the hospital to get back onto I-280. It really is more simple than it sounds.

If Andy is there you will enjoy meeting him.

EDIT: Haas Bakery has a web site and a Facebook site too.

That will really make it nice for you Gary. btw, you can get off going south at that exit and you can get back on going north. Guess they came up short on space. Tell Andy we said Hello.
