    Accuweather claims its 65 here and it's raining!!
    I shut the owb down this morning before leaving for work.
    Lower 30s tonight with "thunderstorms early",, I work til 8pm, rectum I'll fire things up when I get home..weather is like a roller coaster.

    saying it's 28 degrees but it's really hard to tell 50 mph sustained winds weather guy said will get gusts to 70:jaw: that's a Lotta wind here house is a cool 77 degrees and my STT is 650... I think some more air sealing is in order.. burning what's dry.. cherry birch soft maple ash..

    22F here now, not too bad for this time of year. It will be colder in Jan. and Feb. then start to moderate back up. Ice shacks are on the Kennebec River. (Tidal water).

    3c in uk and she's burning well . Give our kid 9 bags a logs I scrounged before I even thought about getting one installed.
    In return months later he gave me a bag full of kiln dried ash which he was forced to buy before we started hoarding .
    Burns hot and log sat hear in dressing gown at 2250 wi door open

    Had a high of 64 in West central Indiana today!!! Gave me time to clean stove and stack out and furnace never ran! High of 34 tomorrow so just fires back up with some ash.

    Looks like another storm for Thursday, maybe a nor'easter, but where Well Seasoned lives, he may get a foot! I hope he has a metal roof. I'm betting that for us it will be messy.

    I'm seeing this.... all day Thursday into Friday up to a foot. No metal roof..... but a 15 yr to help if needed. :yes:

    70 MPH winds!!!!!! Oy Vey, isn't 70 mile an hour winds near tropical storm speeds, or even getting into hurricane territory? Good lord, I wouldn't like that at all.

    Better start a jar for roof project. You are not going to like shoveling off a roof constantly. You look around and see how many metal roofs there are. No ice dams and it just slides right off.
