So I found these today while searching around. I can get them for $225 a ton, and they also do half tons, or by the bag at $4.60 a bag.

I read the review from 2014 on this site.
Anyone running them more recently? I may go get some tomorrow or sat and see how they work.
Only thing I've ran so far (just got my stove, I'm a newb) is barefoots, which seem to burn fine and are able to be had for $230 a ton.

Flooring company near me always carries these but they're now $270 a ton yet. I've burned them (sample bags) three years in a row, they are typically very good but you might want to grab a couple bags first and see if your stove likes them. I have not gotten any bags this season yet though but $225 is a very good price for those.

What else is available by you? If you can find Pennwood pellets those are good too....typically.

My inlaws live in DuBois....actually Falls Creek. My FIL has my old stove and can't seem to find good pellets out there so when he comes here he robs me of my Somerset's....he loves those pellets.

Haven't heard of pennwood, but again, I'm new and just finding as I go.
I've heard a lot of good about barefoot, there avaliable here for $230 a ton, I've been burning them and they seem fine, but It's all I've burned so far so I really don't know.

Always good to try every brand available in your area. Try not to get locked in on a particular brand. Sometimes chit happens and you might not be able to find them. Good to have back up or alternative brands to lean on in times of need.

You'll catch the pellet(swine) flu eventually..........

Titan handled a ton just fine. I've had way more weight on there with firewood. Lol

Looking forward to trying them, still waiting for the hopper to empty of the barefoots.

Cleaned stove and loaded with pellheats lastnight.
They don't seem to burn nearly as hot as barefoot.
Fire doesn't seem as strong and I have to set the temp on the stove 2° higher then I had it set with barefoots to keep same temp in house..
Seem to be burning good and clean just not as hot.

My brother and I split the ton, waiting to hear how there burning in his st.croix.
