Had a boo-boo today. I don't think epoxy will fix it as pieces went everywhere. I see Baileys have both and the saw is worth it. I should add it's a 365 Special.

I might look on ebay or post in the classifieds here to see if someone has a good used one

What is the difference in price.

Sometimes the OEM is stupid expensive and sometimes they are reasonable.

I have a aftermarket 372/365 handle I have not put on yet.

I also hAve a stihl with an aftermarket handle and it's worth watching it is. Had it for like 3 years and it's fine

If memory serves me right, $109 vs. $49. Not a major difference at Bailey's.

So a tree was involved? How exactly did it bust? Don't stop at buying the replacement piece....treat yourself to some new chain, stuff, and things!

At that price difference, I would be thinking aftermarket.

Especially since like I said I have one and it's been in service 3 years and seems all is well with it. And it's one of my main saws that gets pretty good useage.

It is on it's way, thanks. Just as well run by the small engine shop and get gas line and filter. Can you think of anything else?
Thanks again #NH_Wood and everyone else.

No worries and good luck - good idea to install new fuel line/filter while you are at it. Might has well give the intake boot a good look for any sign of damage or cracks. Good luck - I'm sure you'll be up and running in no time! Cheers!

That seller is just a few minutes from me. I've tried to arrange meet ups on 2 occasions for used OEM parts and he makes it difficult. :loco:  @ any rate, great choice. I'm very hesitant w/ the cheena stuff. I tried one carb kit and the welsch plug didn't fit, needed filed to work. It'll use oe from now on.
