35, a load of boxelder in the Republic Low tonight 26, I'll put in some ash later Everyone have a very merry Christmas
Been burning my prize cherry all day , based on how long it lasts and how hot my house is I'm thinking it's better rated than ash what iv been burning this last month. Both good stuff as they were free . Anyway wishing you all a happy and warm Christmas.
-25 C or -34 C if you count the wind. A bit brisk lol . Out visiting family, so no fire all day. Threw in some poplar n run it like a rented mule on start up this evening.
30 deg here now, I haven't put any wood in since 2100 hrs. The house was too darn hot in the 80's. So I banked the coals and shut her down till the AM. The bellows will bring them all right back to life quickly.
45 and misty foggy outside... Threw in some elm... Locust... and Quite a few smaller hedge limbs... Got her shutdown now watching the Secondary light show....
Sitting here at 30°F, our high for the day. The wind are whipping! Temps to drop to about 10°F by the afternoon. Will load the stove later, it's super warm in here!

Lol, I guess that's one way to look at it. You southern hemisphere guys with summer when we have winter. Is that a KTM that you motarded?
We burned the pellet stove last night with the temps sitting at 31, when we woke up this morning the barn had a temp of 75. I turned down the temp set point on the pellet stove for the day. We're at around 28 at the moment. Merry Christmas.
30° and still heating from the load from last night, I tossed in some oak, so it should be good for another cup of coffee.
foggy mist here at 37 degrees, tossed some old beach, cherry, ash and hickory in that greedy hungry wood burner last nite.
