The real cheddar, as well as most great to excellent cheeses are from Wisconsin.

    Just saying...

I used to live in Maine, I had the Vermont stuff, it's OK, but not as good as the Wisconsin cheeses. California makes more cheese in total lbs, but it's low quality stuff.

I'm off for 11 days in a row. We were drinking at work in the after noon for our office party. I cut a purchase order for 250k while buzzed.
1 day later, the PO still looked good, even after the execs looked at it.

You don't know what you are missing then. Seriously, Wisconsin makes the best cheese, especially Cheddars and blues.

The best blue cheese I've ever had was made in France. Those Frenchies make cheese better than they drop their rifles. JK...Kinda.

Some French cheese is amazing. Others, us Sconnies do better. Especially blues and stilton's. European's don't really do Cheddars, so us Americans own that.
