    32 here now, today I burned a handful of sticks and small splits to every 45 min to an hour. Just to keep the stove going and provide some low level heat, as the sun provided some rays to help. Now burning Elm & Cherry from the standing dead I cut last fall (2015)

    About 30 here and suppose to stay high 20's overnight they say. Ash rounds and a big split burnin in da gun.

    It's 32 out tonight with the temp trending up so we have cherry and some red & sugar maple going.

    It's 75 in the basement and 71 up here.

    30° HUGE bed of coals in the belly of the beast, so I tossed in a few sticks of mystery wood (it's dark) to help burn them down. I am going to have to use a shovel later to get rid of some of them.:(

    30f right now, kind of mild , some ash and maple , can't believe this crazy weather , I'll take it. Almost 2017 , the new year should bring some snow as per the weather station , have a great day FHC Family

    23 degrees on the back porch with a 3/4 load of large Pine splits bringing everything up to par. Temps yesterday afternoon were beautiful for working on the barn. Low to mid 30s felt really nice.

    lower 30's here, finally burned down the charcoal and shoveled out that Greedy Hungry Beast last evening,,took 3 cold frosties while I also s/s yesterday's ash score.
    Burning a mixed bag of whatever I get my hands on.

    Partly cloudy and 70 here now very sticky and humid. Calling for 75 everyday through Christmas.
    Winter is not like it used to be here. It used to get in the teens and low 20's for days.
    Miss those days!
