Found out today I'm getting a crap ton more responsibility (read stress) at work today....But it won't be reflected in my paycheck. Not real happy right now.

We share the rowing task together, I see. More for no more.
Better than the alternative tho, but still. Frusterating.

I dealt with that "more work for no more pay" for a couple of years.

Today in our company meeting, we were told we all would be getting raises for our hard work.

    Patience usually pays off.

Good morning, 14 with lower 30's guessed at.
Coffee is on and the owb needs tending to and a fire in the garage stove would be a good idea.
Have a good day out there, be safe.

That's pretty cool for being "thrown together." It looks good and it's functional, nice work.

Looks very nice and summery. when we lived where the summers were a lot hotter than here, I always wanted a "summer kitchen" for canning.

Blowing westerly and raining. Above freezing temps so all the snow is definitely gone at our level. I think it will be indoor chores today. Almost finished a knitting project during Monday Night football. Can't wait to start the next one. I guess we should start watching college football next so I have more knitting time.

It is coming along. I tried on a regular shoe yesterday but it didn't stay on long. With all that is going on right now getting ready for the season, I tend to do too much (no really?) but a couple of hours of sitting on the couch with it up takes the pressure off. Good thing I love to knit.

Thanks by thrown together I mean that the kitchen is modular it comes apart easily and the pavers are all loose layed. Also nearly all the materials were pieces of cut lumber I saved. Luckily all we had to purchase was the bar sink/faucet and solar lights. Thanks for the compliment. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Thanks Woodwidow, good ol'mom purchased some acreage on this Creek see pics. She's getting up in years now and wanted to make a place for family gatherings, gardening etc. Of course no gathering place is complete without restroom facility and a little storage. And canning? Mom cans everything, she's country as a collard green. She even cans mullet. Let the vacation begin. First, pick up oldest daughter at the airport. She is going to be home for a week. :)

Thanks. I had 8 days to get the shed/ restroom built as my mother let friends of hers children who were getting married and wanted an outdoor more of a party than a wedding event. So instead of porta potties my wife and I put our heads down and got it done. Plumbing and electrical included. We were pretty happy with our selves to pull it off in 8 days. After all we're both 52
