Monin... :coffee:... gonna take a snowy drive to see my 99 yr old aunt Margie today to drop off a little Christmas fun. She's still got her sense of humor... and will no doubt give us hell for driving there in the snow... lol...

Just a couple of inches last night, not enough for the tractor.

Cold and clear this morning. I think we are about to get sunshine and above freezing temps during the day. Dinner party went well last night and made it home without breaking and dishes. Still have pie and whipping cream left over. Dessert will good for a few days.
Sanding and priming the ceilings today. Drywall dust is so hard to clean up. It gets everywhere.
Everyone have a safe day today.

One of the last few loads. The 210C is a beast of a worker.

And a shot of the barn from afar (where I'm moving firewood from) horses are just to the right.

IMG_2520.JPG When they are close enough they don't seem too impressed with any of my work. It's almost like they are saying, "Why are you doing that? Dude, you could be giving us more of that fresher cut hay in that barn." :picard:

Gasifier you only made it my the skin of your teeth with the barn project. Any longer and you would be putting on that roof in the snow. While I know you would have done even then, it sure is nice to know you won't have to. How are you enjoying being a horse owner, or is that job up to the wife.

Horse care/owning is her job. I made sure she understood that. And that is why I am always helping her feed them, moving this or that, and doing lots of things she can't physically do. Or have the experience to know how to use a machine to get it done a lot easier. Glad I made sure she understood!:rofl:

Take a shot of lemon or lime juice. You can use the fake stuff that everyone has in the fridge.

It works great! Instantly too. You don't even need that much.

Got some chit done today. Cleaned up from the snow. Shut water off at camp, then drained all lines and put RV anti-freeze in toilet and sink traps. Moved the rest of the firewood inside and over to covered porch. Got some of the pile under porch and covered the rest with a tarp till tomorrow. Then took a break and rested a while. Then went to work on cleaning up and organizing stuff in barn until my neighbor showed up. He and I then installed the casing around the west end the loft door opening and then built and hung the doors on the west end of the loft. They came out great. Finished at dark, so picture to come tomorrow. Then we relaxed and shot the chit in the garage while having a couple cold ones.

No idea about the above typo, WWW took the Blaze out of winter retirement and I used the Blaze for bus pick up this afternoon, and its at 425K, wow! I had no idea we had been driving it so much! I used granny for couple blocks then 1 the last couple blocks on the way to the bus stop. If it was sunny I would have been fine, but today, not much better heat-wise between the Blaze the Duramax ( w/heated seats).
