    Snow (showers) supposed to start here right after dinner time.
    Shovels ready √
    Gore-Tex ski gloves √
    Sn*wblower hood & chute sprayed w/ sn*w slide spray √
    Sn*wblower started, gas topped off √
    Car windshield covered √
    Plenty of gas for heat √
    Plenty of "smoothies" in the frig √

    and best of all........ NO WORK TOMORROW!!!!!! :banana::rootintootin::dancer:

    Got snowblower out of the shed and into the garage. Started it up for a couple of minutes to make sure it was ready, checked oil - a bit on the low side so added more. Got groceries (Sunday is usual day for that). Disuaded my folks from comeing up from Kansas to help me - Dad called while I was at the store. They couldn't have made it here before the storm, so no need for their 80 YO azzes to try to make it here! Got people lined up if I need them (FHC and HOG members). Chipped some ice off the back porch - probably shouldn't have, I got a slight headache from it. Live and learn. Filled bird feeders.

    Not going to work tomorrow - got my computer set up to work from home.

    Oh yeah, took some pics of Rita. She was laying on the next step down until I got the phone to take a picture.

    Well, I was inspired so thought I'd warm up the snow blower and generator. Zero for two, neither started. Looks like I'll be booning up,the driveway tomorrow. Neighbor has a good blower so it's borrow time until I can tinker with the machines.

    Exhaust blower died last night. Started screeching so I shut it down for the night to cool down and check out today. Very difficult to turn. Think the sealed bearings gave up the ghost.

    Installed a replacement and that works.

    Lasted 20 tons.
