Oh my, it is some cold this morning. Toasty warm inside. Dogs didn't want to go out. I'm going to try to get my tires on if they can work me in a spot at Sam's. I think everything on the schedule for tomorrow is going to be cancelled. Big storm moving in. Might get a half foot of snow.

I hope you can get them on midweek if tomorrow won't work. I think another system moving in for the end of the week, but let's get through this one first.

That is funny right there because the cats ran right out the door this morning at 5*. Weird thing is that Fuzzy, the Maine Coon type cat (lots of long, thick fur), came in after a minute or two. Rita, who has short fur that isn't as thick, stayed out there for about 40 miutes. She refused to come in as I checked on her every 10 minutes. And to think - she had never been outside in her life before about 2 months ago. Of course Fuzzy was feral so he knows very well how nice it is to be inside. A picture of Fuzzy as Yeti Kitty many moons ago at my old house

Just at freezing this morning. Could be rain or snow this morning with the sun coming out this afternoon. Going to get ready for a dinner party tonight. Pies are already made, just have to make buns this morning and make centerpieces. campinspecter is getting the last coats of mud on the drywall in the kitchen and bathroom so we might be able to sand and paint tomorrow.

Looks like we got about 5" of snow so far this am. There to be a few more inches yet today.

I'll get pics later, probably when I snowblow the driveway.

My bride after we put up the garland on the footbridge.

We had a good time with my mom at the pancake breakfast. Feeling very "round" after eating so much. :)

    Ok
I was hoping you would post a picture of that bridge when you talked about decorating it earlier. I really like the way the bridge looks.

    Thanks alot!

That little bridge is pretty special to our family.

Little town of 150, my dad came up with the idea so kids and those who couldn't walk as well would have better access across the drainage way and into the park.

When he passed away, my mother used donations from the funeral to finance it. I designed and helped my best friend build it.

So it was a natural that I proposed to that lady on it. If fact I proposed to her when we were out taken the garland down.

Less than a year later we held our wedding ceremony on it. I think one of the guys dug up a wedding picture of us on it a while ago. :)

I was first in line this morning. They did work my car in. Took three hours. I no longer have a second car so I had to wait for the work to be done. What a time killer. Sam's Club and the dealership are the places that make you wait and wait.
