    The deck boards, along with a few trees are "popping"

    Going past your place tomorrow on the way to N. Conway for some shopping.

    Helped a guy who slid off the highway, up high on route 2 in Jefferson yesterday, walked down to him sinking up to my knees in snow. He was ok.... no way we could get his truck out and back up

    It's 21F here, I just threw a HUGE 22 inch long hunk of mulberry in the back of the Jotul, Mrs. T. said it would never fit in the stove o_O, in front of it went a 3 to 4 inch rounder of ash, on top in the rear I squeezed a 2 in. slab of hickory, and up front on top went a real nice half rounder of elm.....stove's packed. Some times the thing just packs so good, some time's it doesn't.....tonight it's packed real good :D

    Current temp 5°F, wouldn't know it inside with a temp of 70°F

    Reloaded the oakleaf with big chunks of maple, ash, and, birch to keep the IDA temps up for the night. Tonight's low will be our daytime high by the end of next week.

    And then in a couple of weeks it will start to get cold..........get your outdoor work done while it's still not to bad out.

    Just went out and loaded the stove. I loaded what was easy to get to, it was all ash. 19°F outside and 74° in here.

    So, InAccuweather is at it again. They're telling me it's still 16 OAT, but my high tech temp gauge is telling me it's only 11.
    Still 73 IAT, so no worries. I'll reload in a while with a bunch of Red Maple for ovahnight.
