Arthritis in my hands is getting worse but I can still get a beer to my mouth and Munch on some brownies
24º out (real feel 12) heading for 18º overnight (real feel 5). Just loaded with sugar maple, elm and locust. 73º inside.
Yeah you work with what you have. Im amazed at how well I can heat my 2600 sq ft house with a 2 cf firebox. When -23 the center of my house is still 22c and the stove is on the bottom floor, amazing! I will say though that my previous stove was a 3 cf smoke dragon in my last house and in this one its 2 cf. If and when I replace this stove it will be with a PE Summit or a Blaze King with a 3 cf fire box. Im happy with what I have for now though.
-29 C right now. Good thing the dog woke me me up, otherwise I might have slept peacefully all night on the couch. Goofy bugger must have though snoring meant kiss me lol
Weve warmed up a bit. Its holding at about -17c now. I prefer that than what weve had and what youre dealing with! No surprise but my stove is full of larch and Im off to bed.
Currently 12°F with a cool breeze..... Filled the oakleaf up with another load of ash and hard maple. Indoor temp held at 67°F all night.
A balmy 19*F. The boiler will be hungry for more wood in a couple of hours. I will toss in some black locust, because it is close.
18 on deck.. cool breeze off the lake 72 inside just loaded 3 small splits of pine.... burning down coals..
I had 18 this morning at 4:45 am, just coals then, filled the stove with Oak @ 1030 before bed. I'm at work now so the wife will fire up the VC when she gets up.
Feels like -15. Next week will be colder as the temps will be that low. Then add the wind chill. Crap.
21 OAT 18 eF'ing inches of snow 76 IAT Cleaning up around wood stove and dusting the room. Will burn up what's in rack by stove and shut down sometime tomorrow and fire up the Woodchuck. My wood carrying is over for the winter!!!!
It was down to 15 early this morning. Now it's up to 21 with a feels like 16. Ash and Pine burning away.
It was -31 C (-23 F), but now it warmed up to -29 C and the wind picked up a bit... Poplar and furnace oil tag team happening for now.
I don't think I'm any further ahead with google translate. All I can say is they're 87 % efficient. The rest I can't make heads or tails of. 1,300 kg seem a bit heavy for a stove?
