2.5 cord at this point. Last year it was 2 cord total from the end of December, when we got the stove, till May of last year.
Went through 2.5 a couple years ago (total, was a warm winter), 3 last year, and 2.25-2.5 so far this year. I sold a cord earlier in the fall, probably should have waited. I found a real, real cheap source of slab wood I could use as a backup if needed, or split some of next years ash that I have down.
X2. He is near the Mansfield area. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks back. A really good guy that has a severe case of CAD!! I could easily talk saws/wood/stoves with him for hours and hours.
A lot of us in this area. I have to be close to 3+ cords. Medium sized stove and a big drafty old house.
I've never burned over 3 cord and I am pretty close the that right now As for Fin-Fur? I'm pretty close as well. About 10-15 min North of there.
A little over 2 cords, and a long way to go. My average winter is 3 cords but I will go over that this year.
Buddy of mine down the road had about 2 weeks left in the garage and figures he's gone through 4 cords so far..We blitzed a bunch of standing no bark trees this afternoon to hopefully finish his winter More trees laying in the driveway but i was tired and cold for any fancy picture taking
About 6-7 cord now. I ran out and have been buying... Not a lot of folks are selling, the few that are- either don't take pride in their work, or don't know how to read a tape measure. Curved ends, random sizes from way too long to short rounds. Now I know why my friends I gave a few cord to liked my wood so much...
My wife keeps asking me this question, the other day I asked her why she needed to know, apparently a co-worker of hers saw my stacks and is obsessed. I don't really keep track, I use the strategy of, keep waaaay more than you will ever use...
In September I laid out 1 1/8 cord just out back by my garage door, that's what I calculated that I would probably burn, the other day I said I'm not gonna make it, so now I'm gonna dig into my beech stash while its still like 20 degrees out. What a problem to have right?
I'm halfway through my third 14' row. Hard to say exactly what I have burnt this year as the wood is pretty inconsistent in length. It came from a tree service. Three full rows at a little over four feet high would be 2 cords so I haven't burnt 2 cords yet.
