    I had the spotlight on and Maple was chasing the ground from all the shadows the snow flakes were making. Funny, funny stuff! :thumbs:

    About to go feed the OWB and then catch up on a weeks worth of waking up too early......any where form 2:00 to 5:15 for wake up times this past week. Bed sounds good once the stove is fired!

    Maple and mid 20's here.

    Currently 30.7 with an inch of snow overnight. Reloaded the oakleaf with pine, birch, and Maple.

    Only down to about 35 when I got up, and still 70 IAT, but after a while there's some Ash and Maple in the stove.
    Should only get to 37 OAT today, so I'm sure another small fire will be lit sometime this afternoon, then another ovahnightah.

    Howdy People, never thought winter was going to get here in the boat world. A long summer and fall it was for myself. 34 deg. and a maple/cherry mix in the basement stove.

    20161203_135537.jpg Got the first load of this to add to the pile. This place has about 7 cords to add to my stacks,if I can get it out before snow sets in, all ash and about 5 miles from home . Tonight the boiler has pine and beech in it, but I will fill it when we get home with some oak, so I can sleep in a bit.

    34 here right now with a low of 25 expected tonight. After it and the tank was up to temperature I have loaded the boiler with two very large splits of Ash, several splits of Cherry, and a couple small splits of Box Alder. Should keep us till 6am. :fire:
