Yes, I get it through wifi on the Serius internet app, there is a charge for it.

 

If a satellite radio is what you'd like to try, if your it guy won't loosen the reigns a little, I've got a delphi Sirius / xm myfi unit I'd be willing to part with.

There's that too. But I think you'd still want a xm unit.

 

I bought my truck almost three years ago and had an XM add-on radio in it. When I got it home, I was going to take it out and figured, what the heck, turn it on. It must have a lifetime subscription because it's still working.

Every six months, my wife does this tango with them on the phone for Sirius in her Ford Explorer. She calls to cancel. They offer her a deal that is far from a deal. She tells them that if they have the same offer of 6 months at $24.99 for 6 months. They inform her that deal is no longer available, and counter with a slightly better offer than the first one. I'm in the background telling her to just cancel it. After about 10 minutes, the rep puts her on hold and comes back to her she can do the 6 months at $24.99. If they are only going down to $135, tell them thanks but no thanks. They will call back with a better offer. We are paying $50/year for the wife's car. Which is also the family car, and we use Sirius regularly.

 

I get the internet connection also, maybe next year I'll try to beat them up more
