We have a old table from my wife's parents that has a few issues. 1. Veneer is damaged on the top, I'd say mostly split not missing pieces. 2. It has a middle column leg that support the table when the leaves are added that doesn't work that well. 3. Fitment of the base to the top has most of the screw holes hogged out. 4. Then there are the chairs. Because my wife gave our table and chairs to my daughter when they moved into their new home Monday this table has come up on my need to fix radar. The table we bought when we moved here 10 years ago is still in good shape (other than the stains from Gkids), but the chairs are all falling apart. Not going to bother with much repair. We'll replace when we have the cash.
