    Doc thinks the foot is looking good. Six more weeks before going back to work. I am suppose to try walking on it occasionally. Drove all day so tonight it aches from being down.

    Good morning, cloudy, upper 30's and swilling me last cup of coffee,,maybe.
    Young buddy with new owb has trashed 2 blower assemblies, getting blowback thru the blower. He had just installed 2 sticks of s/s flu thinking it was downdraft wind from his pole barn, so it wasn't a plugged flu.,I ran my spare assembly over and once the fire was really roaring we had the same thing when closing the damper. WTH?,,having a moment of clarity I tried blocking off part of the intake to slow down the air velocity and that fixed it. Anyone ever heard of a blower assembly being too strong?..it's a well built home made unit and he reported this morning that all is well.

    If the pasture isn't soggy, I'm gonna' go cut a truckload of wood.

    Ah doors... they can be a fun project. I remember making doors for the end of our old barn years ago. The space was 12' wide x 14' high. Are you gonna swing em or slide em? Here's a pic of the old doors from a trip there this last spring (after 9 years since we sold it) with my son...

    We took separate vehicles as the truck was getting some work done and Mom has a hard time getting in and out of the vehicle. Foot is a lot better this morning.

    We are going with Mom over to her place this morning to get some little things done so it will be a much easier day.

    Showed up to work at the office today to xmas music on the intercom system. :hair:
    I like xmas, but old school xmas music for 8hrs a day? Really? I'd be ok with it if it was some Trans Siberian Orchestra.

    Time to schedule some out of the office appointments :D
