    How do you stabilize the log while you are chainsawing away---I think I might try this....anyone seen it being done?

    Thanks so much for the link to the how-to video---why didn't I think of that? I see he screws the log to be cut to a base so he can put his foot on it if necessary--well all I need now is to determine what to carve---:saw: look out!
