So who is the gun expert here? I have someone wanting to trade me some stuff for their guns and I'm not a gun guy so I don't know their worth. 1. Beretta 390 20ga synthetic stock. 2. M&P Performance Series 9mm with a Trijicon rmr red dot and extra mags. 3. Remington 308 SPS tactical 700 action with a Millet 6-25x56mm LRS tactical scope 1/4 mil click reticle. All supposed to be in like new condition. What would they be worth and how hard to sell? TIA!

OK, found out the 308 and 9mm were bought new and he is original owner with papers. Climate controlled safe kept...not hunted...range fired only...approx 100 rounds through each, cleaned after each outing. He says ZERO defects in either one. 308 is 3YO and the 9 is 1 yo. Self described hard core collector type...willing to have any inspection/appraisal done that I want. So I'm thinking they are all legit. Also, just found out the shotgun is semi auto (maybe all 390s are?) and modified to accept a 4th load.
I like to compare prices to Bud's Gun shop, those are about the lowest "new" prices you'll find and seem to be close to a lot of used asking prices. Like CL, most people on Armslist expect to do some negotiating on the final price. Obviously the optics will add to the value, but keep in mind optics don't hold their value as well as guns do.
Well, it turns out that I need not worry about the 308 or the 9...cuz it turns out the guy is, as Kimberly would say, crackers! I thought he was offering me both, turns out he was "giving me my choice" of one or the other, my choice Ahhh, let me see here...no...just no. Not even close to a deal there buddy. But it sounds like I will very likely be able to work out a deal with the guy that has the shotgun though
