Happy T-day, we had a seven rib oink roast with all the trimmings and a nap will be in order since the stove has been cleaned and is back running.

Well, having some time on my hands this morning, I decided to install my latest purchase. A Lux Geo stat. Decided a few weeks back that since I use my smart phone for so many things, figured I'd give it a try.

Best feature is the free downloadable app for my smartphone....has the ability to control temp and read home temp right on the phone. In addition, it has Geo Fencing.....if I go more than a set distance from home (in this case I set it at 10 miles), the phone automatically sends the stat a signal to lower temp, and when I come back into that 10 mile radius, it turns the heat back up....pretty cool. Plus the usual ability to set up individual daily heating schedules.

Also has charts & graphs on phone & internet site to see how your heating system is doing. Large screen with back-light is nice too.

    Lux GEO

I got mine in black, since all the outlets & switches are.

Been raining cats, dogs, cows and T rex's all day.

Radar showed dark orange just sitting on top of our area.
Streets down in town are rivers with water blowing up out of the storm drains instead of going down them.

Our gravel road has a lovely creek running down one side now.

The rain has let up a bit and it not nearly what it was an hour ago.
